Terms of Service

These terms apply to the KomikID app and this website. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Accepting these terms

By installing or using KomikID, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. The service

KomikID is a reader for manga, manhwa and manhua published by third-party Indonesian scanlation sources. You can read as a guest or sign in with an account. Reading is free and supported by ads. An optional Premium subscription removes ads and adds extra features. We may change, add or remove features over time.

3. Licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use KomikID for your own non-commercial reading. You may not:

• copy, modify or redistribute the app or the content shown in it;
• use the app or its content for commercial purposes or public display;
• reverse engineer, scrape or interfere with the app or its servers;
• remove copyright or other proprietary notices.

4. Accounts

You can sign in with Google, or with Apple on iOS. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your Google or Apple account secure. You can delete your account at any time; see Delete account.

5. Comics and copyright

The comics shown in KomikID come from third-party sources and belong to their creators and publishers. We don't claim ownership of them. You may not redistribute, reproduce or create derivative works from them. Rights holders can ask us to remove material under our DMCA policy.

6. What you post

You are responsible for the comments, reactions, avatars and bug reports you post. Keep them legal and respectful: no harassment, hate, sexual content or spam. Other readers can report comments to us, and we may remove anything that breaks these terms. You keep ownership of what you post and allow us to store it and show it in the app.

7. Premium and payments

Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed by the app store you bought it from. It renews until you cancel it in that store's subscription settings. The price is shown in the app before you pay, and refunds follow the store's refund policy. Deleting your KomikID account does not cancel a subscription.

8. Prohibited uses

Don't use KomikID to break the law or help others break it, to harass other readers, to post malware or spam, to access accounts or data that aren't yours, or to overload or disrupt our servers.

9. Termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example after repeated copyright infringement or abusive comments. You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time.

10. Disclaimer

The app is provided as is. Chapters come from third-party sources, so we can't promise that every title is complete, accurate or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or incidental losses that come from using the app.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.
